Schools run on operational work, and the teams that enable that work deserve great tools. We’re two friends with backgrounds in EdTech, AI, and software, including deep experience in data, analytics, and business operations. We’re building toward starting an edtech company, and before we build, we want to do the work ourselves.
We’re spending this summer embedded with school teams so we can learn the realities of K‑12 operations from the inside while delivering useful work along the way. We’re looking to partner with a district, charter network, or school administrative team for 4 to 8 weeks. During that time, we’ll augment your team and deliver whatever is needed to achieve a great outcome:
- ✎Custom software
- ✎Standard operating procedures
- ✎Cleaner data
- ✎3rd‑party integrations
- ✎Better tooling for workflows

Veronica

Veronica has 9 years in K-12 EdTech across data, analytics, and operations. She was the founding data hire at ReadWorks, a K-12 literacy nonprofit used in classrooms nationwide, and Polygence, which pairs high schoolers with research mentors.

Danny
BA Computer Science, UC Berkeley
Danny has a decade of hands-on experience building and scaling both companies and AI infrastructure. He co-founded a venture backed AI real estate brokerage and processed $20M of transaction volume in year 1. Prior, he led an engineering team of 20 at LinkedIn in transforming foundational data and applications infrastructure for products including LinkedIn Messaging, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter.
Offering
We’re looking for a school team to partner with this summer through an embedded 4–8 week operations sprint.
Together, we’ll identify one or more high‑priority workflows and work toward a concrete deliverable, such as a cleaned‑up data process, dashboard, internal tool, SOP, automation, system integration, or document workflow. We’ll work on whatever your team feels comfortable with; our goal is to augment, not distract.
Student data and analytics
Bring together assessments, attendance, grades, and behavior data into a single view of student progress. Spot who needs support early, track growth across the year, and walk into a board meeting with a clear story — without pulling exports from five different systems.
Budgeting, ROI, and grant funding
See which tools and programs your team actually uses, where you're overspending, and where you're leaving money on the table. We'll help surface grant and funding opportunities for things you're already paying for out of pocket.
Master scheduling
Building the master schedule is a high-stakes annual lift that lives in spreadsheets and institutional memory. We can help reduce the manual load and surface tradeoffs earlier.
Employee evaluation
Streamline the capture-to-write-up flow so leaders spend less time documenting and more time coaching.
Document processing
Turn the manual paperwork and form-pushing behind course planning, summer school approvals, and transcripts into something faster and less hands-on.
Interested?
We’d love to hear about what your team is working on and where we might be able to help.
